Virobit is a founder-led Dallas software studio — backed by a trusted network of engineers for development and audit work — that builds purpose-built replacements for expensive legacy software in utilities, warehousing, telecom, field services, and insurance. Instead of renting you SaaS seats, we scope a rebuild of your legacy tool, quote one fixed price, and hand over the source code when it ships. We also shipped Drift, an open-source E2E-encrypted messenger, and have four more products in private development.

Enterprise vendors like Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and Harris charge six-figure annual fees, require long implementation timelines, and lock you into multi-year contracts. We do the opposite: a scoped build purpose-fit to a small or mid-size operation, priced once, owned by you. The philosophy is "everything you need, nothing you don't" — and no rent afterward.

The rebuild line targets five verticals: utilities (water, electric, gas, wastewater), warehousing and distribution, telecom and ISPs, field service contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), and insurance carriers and MGAs. If your legacy tool falls outside those, ask anyway — the model is the same.

Your choice. Because you own the delivered software, the default is deploying on your own hardware or cloud account. If you'd rather not run servers, we host it for a flat monthly fee — and you can take the deployment in-house later, anytime.

No. Rebuilds are designed for operations teams, not developers — if you can use a spreadsheet, you can run your system. You never need to touch the source code you own; it's there so you're never hostage to us (or anyone). Integrations are built into the scope.

There are no subscription tiers, because we're not selling a subscription. Every build is scoped individually and quoted as one fixed price — data migration and documentation included, no per-user fees ever. The calculator on the homepage models the 5-year math against staying on your legacy contract.

There's no trial because there's no subscription — but the scoping phase is free, and it's better than a trial: we model your actual numbers, put a fixed quote in writing, and you decide with zero commitment. You can also click through the concept UI (clearly labeled as a mockup).

There's nothing to cancel after hand-off — you own the build outright. Mid-build, you can end an engagement under the milestone terms (you pay for delivered work, keep what was built, and unearned payments come back). Optional hosting cancels anytime, effective end of the billing period.

There's no annual billing to discount — builds are one-time and hosting is flat monthly. The discount, if you want to think of it that way, is every year after hand-off costing $0 in required fees.

Migration is part of the scoped build, not an add-on. The process: (1) you export data from your current system in CSV or grant read-only API access; (2) we map, clean, and import it into your new system; (3) we run it in parallel with your current system until the numbers match; (4) you approve the cutover. Timeline is set in your scope — we won't quote a fake average.

Honest answer: the industry line is new, so there's no migration track record to brag about yet. What we design imports for: Harris, Incode, Cogsdale, Amdocs, CSG, WinBill, GreenLight, ServiceTitan, ServiceMax, ICOMS, and custom or in-house applications. The rule of thumb holds — if it exports CSV or has a documented API, it can be migrated.

The plan is zero: both systems run in parallel during transition, and cutover is a scheduled event during your lowest-activity window, only after you've approved the parallel-run results. Nothing switches until you say so.

Wherever you want it — that's the point of owning the build. Default is your own hardware or cloud account; optional flat-fee hosting runs on US-based managed cloud. Either way the build standard is AES-256 at rest, modern TLS in transit, and encrypted backups, all specified in your scope document.

No — and we won't claim certifications we don't hold. Virobit has no SOC 2 or HIPAA certification today. What you get instead: a security posture written into your scope that any auditor you hire can verify, single-tenant architecture, and source code you can have reviewed independently. If your compliance regime requires specific controls (e.g., NAIC data security model law), they get designed into the build — as requirements, not marketing.

Only you and users you authorize. On our side, exactly who can access a system we host is named in your engagement agreement — no blanket access, with MFA and audit logging required for anyone listed. Self-hosted builds we can't access at all without you initiating it. We never share, sell, or reuse your operational data.

During a build: direct access to the person building your system. After hand-off: your documentation is written to make you self-sufficient, and an optional support contract keeps us on call if you want that. No ticket queues, no tiers — you email, the builder answers.

Honestly: a small founder-led operation, Central time, usually same-day replies. We don't promise 24/7 coverage we can't staff — response expectations for hosted systems and support contracts are agreed in writing per engagement, so they're promises we can actually keep.

Yes. Hand-off includes training sessions via screen share for your team, plus operational documentation written for your specific system — not generic help-center articles about someone else's software. On-site training can be scoped in if you want it.
