Virobit is a bootstrapped, founder-led software studio in Dallas, Texas, building modern replacements for overpriced legacy industry software. Founded in 2024, Virobit shipped Drift, an open-source end-to-end-encrypted messenger, and is developing four further products in private build; development and audit work is carried out with a trusted network of engineers the founder works with directly. Its business model is deliberately contrarian: instead of renting SaaS seats, Virobit scopes a fixed-price rebuild of a client's legacy tool — utilities, warehousing, telecom, field services, insurance — and hands over the source code. The client owns the result; there are no required recurring fees.
